Jenise Katalina

Jenise Katalina holds her Master of Social Work degree from Springfield College and is currently a License Certified Social Worker. Jenise is the Assistant Vice President of Family Services at Square One in Springfield, where she has assisted in the development and implementation of family based services since 2011. Jenise is certified in multiple group models for parents and families, as well as a Train the Trainer in Cultural Humility and The Strengthening Families Protective Factors. Jenise has also offered trainings in the specific topics of children impacted by violence, children exposed to trauma, and toxic stress, adversity and building resilience. Jenise currently serves on multiple community based coalitions in a leadership capacity, including the Springfield Department of Health and Human Services Maternal Child Health Commission and the Hampden County Perinatal Support Coalition.

Jenise joined the MotherWoman training team in the spring of 2016 and continues to support, educate and consult with community providers in order to best serve women and families throughout the perinatal period. Jenise currently lives in Springfield, Massachusetts where she has also worked for over 15 years.
